Masbro Village is one of the most affordable and best glamping spots in the country. It features reasonable rates while providing its guests with a comfy and tranquil stay without leaving the city.
It’s a place that my friends and I have visited several times because of its accessibility, but honestly, our first time wasn’t all smooth sailing.

Masbro Village is tucked away on the outskirts of Melaka Town. More specifically, it sits in the small town of Taman Paya Rumput along the Lebuh AMJ Highway and it’s surrounded by lush greenery.

How to Get to Masbro Village
Closest bus stop: Fortunately, the entrance of Masbro Village is located right beside the bus stop, Rumah Panjang Paya Rumput, which can be accessed via the Panorama Melaka bus provider.
Taxi/Grab: You can also hail a taxi for a more convenient travel experience—just be sure to insist on using the metre! Alternatively, you can book a ride through ride-sharing apps like Grab so that you can get picked up directly from your location and see the final fare before booking.
Rental car: If you want the utmost privacy and convenience, you can rent a car and drive to Masbro Village. It’s also the most scenic way of getting to the tranquil spot, and you won’t have trouble with parking either, since a spot is reserved per guest.

Aside from its uniquely shaped houses, the biggest draw in Masbro Village is its outdoor swimming pool. Here, you and your loved ones can spend countless hours splashing around in the cooling waters while basking while soaking in the sun.
Even though it’s a public pool for all the guests, it rarely gets crowded because of its massive size. Plus, the pool is divided into two parts, one is deeper and the other one is much more shallow, which is suitable for kids.

The bright and colourful houses you’ll find in Masbro Village aren’t just for show, as they’re fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay! For starters, each one features sofas and beds that are surprisingly comfy.
So if you’d much rather stay indoors, you’re in good hands! Whether you’re going for a power nap or a full night’s sleep, these houses will let you enjoy a cool and relaxing rest.

What Masbro Village may lack in facilities is entirely made up for by its location—I mean, it’s in the historic city of Malacca! This means that you can spend a day exploring its most famous attractions and return to the resort to enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Some of the best attractions you can visit during your trip include the Malacca River, A’Famosa Fort and St.Paul’s Church. Of course, you can’t leave this place without visiting the fantastic Zoo Melaka, which houses over a thousand species of animals and plants!
